The postcard shows the façade of the anatomical museum by the Bonnet family. The front displays several large paintings that are based on renowned paintings depicting key events from medical history. On the right: 'La transfusion du sang de chèvre' (1892) of Jules Adler. Second to right: 'Une leçon clinique à la Salpêtrière' (1887) by André Brouillet. In the middle we see a glimpse of a sleeping beauty, a wax model with a mechanism that simulated breathing, aimed to draw the attention of passers-by. The façade also advertises the museum as 'Genre Dupuytren' a reference to the medical museum established by dr. Dupuytren for the medical faculty in Paris.
